Resources for Teaching

Here’s a list of resources that I’ve found useful as I work through the M.Ed. program at OSU:

• WCHS Curriculum Guide for High School.  The pacing guides on the right hand side were especially useful for unit planning.
• Big Ideas Database.  It has some useful tools, and a whole bunch of examples.
• Ohio Youth Voices.  A good look from the other side of the teacher’s desk about what students want and need in their education.
• Ohio Resource Center.  Has all sorts of resources and tools.  Also has convenient grouping of Content Standards.
• A-Z Methodology.  has resources for teaching ideas.  not a full resource listing, since it’s referenced for a full course out of Cambridge.
